Connect What fuels your passion for fitness?

What fuels my passion for fitness stems from a young age. I ate horribly when I was younger and I felt horrible. Over the years I took a direct approach to my health and started eating clean, moving my body, and creating a healthy lifestyle that was fun and sustainable for my life. I have come a long way, and I am proud to say that my health and fitness to me is as natural as breathing in oxygen. I couldn't be happier with where i am at now mentally physically and emotionally.

Tell us your favorite way to stay fit

I'm not too routine when it comes to staying fit. I move my body differently every day depending on how I feel that day. Some days I am more tired so I do low-impact workouts like walking, yoga, and pilates, and other days when I have more energy I go on hikes, do dumbells, and do higher-intensity workouts. I think the most important thing is moving your body as much as possible and having fun while doing it. When working out becomes a chore, you are doing it all wrong. Keep it fun!

What would you do with $20,000?

I would start by putting the money into my business to help it grow with marketing, pursuing my passion for speaking on stage, and putting money into that. I would also invest in savings, pay my rent for a few months, take my kid on a trip to Hawaii so he can see where he was made, and visit friends and family in California. I would also donate a portion of the money to charities that are important to me.
