Connect What fuels your passion for fitness?

When I see the opportunities that God, my coaches, teammates, supporters and family have given me I try my hardest and put forth full effort so they know how devoted I am. To be blessed to be able to do fitness without worrying about any health risk or underlying issues, I want everyone to know I am thankful and grateful so by making sure my body is in its best form, I am doing that.

Tell us your favorite way to stay fit

My favorite way to stay fit would be basketball of course considering I have been playing for 15+ years. Playing alongside women that I have built great bonds without on and off the court brings me so much joy. Weight training would have to be a close second. Being able to physically see the improvements that you have done to your bodies is rewarding enough and I love the feeling of soreness because that means I worked out correctly but also will be seeing change in the future.

What would you do with $20,000?

First, I would donate a decent amount to the Kay Yow Foundation which is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to fighting all cancers affecting women. The foundation is named after Coach Yow that is known mostly for her contributions to the Tennessee Women’s Basketball team and women’s basketball in general. Second I would help my family. My mom goes above and behind to make sure my siblings and I are taken care of and I would love to return the favor. I would also help increase my NIL!
