My goal has always been to be able to carry each of my boys for as long as I can, my oldest is 13 and I can still carry him on down the line. I have a genetic disorder that makes it hard to workout but it’s also super beneficial, weird combo. Then Triple Negative Breast Cancer. I’m just a mom who found something she loved and stuck with it. 3 plus years of consistency. Add a dash of cancer on top and it’s a need for mental clarity and to keep my body in the best fighting shape possible.

What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?

I workout at my house with the assistance of YouTube and some weights. I needed something that fit ME and my life. I found workouts that I have so much fun doing even on the days I don’t want to, I found protein sources that actually taste good, my boys get to see me put in effort, and I still eat anything I want. It had to work for ME.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would love to create a workout specific area that doesn’t also happen to be the first room you see when you enter my home. I love what I have accomplished, now I would just like an area to keep my things and continue building on what I have done. Gym flooring and some different weights would be super helpful on my continued goal to be able to carry my boys as long as possible and to stay as healthy as I can.
