The healing power of exercise (the positive effects it has on the mind, body & soul) are absolutely incredible, and my desire to share my story, knowledge and excitement for fitness, is what constantly fuels my passion! (I absolutely loooove cheering on and supporting others on their fitness journeys as well 💯🥳)
What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?Weight lifting is probably my #1 favorite way to train, but I also love distance running! Right now, I'm boxing, weight lifting and training for the Boston Marathon in April. BUT, In my opinion, not all training happens in the gym or while breaking a sweat... I think training the mind is just as vital as training the body💯 Also it is important to incorporate activities you love and enjoy into your daily fitness/lifestyle routine. In my opinion, there's no "one way fits all" way to stay "fit" :)
What would you do with $20,000?After reaching out to local community & charity organizations, I will donate the 20k to the Dartmouth Health OB Department, and their Mom's In Recovery program. I work in healthcare & also am in recovery, so I feel very passionate about helping those with the disease of addiction/alcoholism. At Dartmouth Health, the money will be used to help pregnant & postpartum women, and those who suffer from Substance Use Disorder.
