Connect What fuels your passion for health and fitness?

I believe in mental health and that fuels my passion. The gym and the track are my escape i release my energy and that’s how I take care of myself. Someone with a disability faces a lot of challenges when it comes to limiting our selves. We see a lot of anxiety and depression but with fitness and prioritizing our health you see how lives change for the better. I like showing others as well that we are capable of doing more than we think and what society thinks.

What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?

My favorite way to train is with a good track workout as much as I love the gym the track is my second home. The fresh air hitting your face and the speed going down the track is an energy that is unmatched. A good track workout touches base with everything in your body every muscle feels something running down the track.

What would you do with $20,000?

Being a Paralympic athlete who does not receive much financial help $20,000 would help further my training. I would be able to focus on training and not focus on how to cover those expenses. I would be able to go on training camps and get advice from amazing coaches. This would also help cover equipment I might need in this sport. This money will help me further improve as an athlete and continue my goals of making it to LA2028 games.
