Receive Text UpdatesI work in physical therapy, primarily with elderly and disabled patients, and every day I'm reminded how valuable the ability to move truly is. Helping my patients find ways to stay mobile and independent is incredibly meaningful, but it also reinforces how fortunate I am to have an able body. I pursued physical therapy not only to help others, but to better understand how to care for my own body- so I can move well, stay strong, and maintain independence for the rest of my life.
What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit? That's a tough question because my favorite way to train evolves with different seasons of life- and I truly love it all. I'm naturally drawn to functional fitness and Olympic lifting, but I've recently shifted my focus toward body building through a structured routine of calisthenics and isolation work, allowing me to build muscle that is both functional and aesthetic. Outside the gym, some of my favorite training happens in the outdoors- long hikes and paddling the river with friends.
What would you do with $20,000?I would invest the $20,000 in maintaining and upgrading equipment at my friend's neurorehabilitation clinic, where I work part-time as a functional fitness instructor. This investment would directly support patient recovery by ensuring safe, reliable, and effective tools for therapy, ultimately improving outcomes for individuals working to regain strength, mobility, and independence.
