What fuels your passion for health and fitness?

As a nurse, I see the consequences of a lifetime of neglecting health. I want to remain fit and active as I age. I live on a family property with our adult children and grandson. I need to be healthy for them. But mostly, being healthy opens up experiences to me that I would not have if I become sick or disabled.

What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?

My favorite way to stay fit is a mixture of running, biking, weightlifting and yoga/pilates. I run 3 days a week and am training for the OKC memorial marathon. I bike once a week and lift twice a week with yoga or Pilates thrown in as needed.

What would you do with $20,000?

Hmm…with 20,000, I would put in more fruit and nut trees and get newer vehicle.
