Receive Text UpdatesI love playing sports and there aren't many I haven't tried. Injury prevention is key; having supple muscles that behave the way they were designed to helps me avoid joint pain, and superior strength helps me avoid accidents. I've always worked out 5-6 days a week. Massage and cupping have increased in my 50's. I do what I need to do (zero alcohol) so I can do what I want to do physically. I'd like to downhill ski and compete in triathlons until I'm on my deathbed.
What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?I’ve competed in/gotten good at 18 sports: gymnastics, hunter jumper horseback, rock climbing, scuba diving, kickboxing, dirt-biking, backpacking, waterskiing, & Triathlons are the wild ones. In 1991, I had the highest batting ave. in the state of MA @ .675. At 53, I do Tris & 5k's, ski dbl. blacks, and play softball. Warm weeks: I run 3 miles, swim 1 mile, bike 30 miles, lift, and do yoga. I hike or mtn. bike when possible. Cold weeks: I lift, do yoga, run on the tread, and ski.
What would you do with $20,000?My son heads to college next year and this will help pay for it. Maybe I'll buy him a ski pass so he can practice enough to keep up with me! (ha ha--he's an amazing skier).
