My passion for fitness comes from honoring my body as the vessel of my one life. As women, we pour into everyone else—family, friends, community,often forgetting ourselves. When I commit to self-care and self-honoring, I’m strengthened in body/soul/spirit and able to give more fully and abundantly to others. I represent many women raised in a time when tending to ourselves was seen as a luxury. Today, we are entering a new dawn of body stewardship and intentional renewal & that is exciting!!

I’ve never had a coach or trainer & am self-taught. I’m a novice really but my favorite way to train is through movement that reminds me who I am. Weight training makes me feel strong and unshakeable. Kickboxing reconnects me to my martial arts roots as a young girl competing in Kenpo karate—focused, fierce, and disciplined—while giving me a powerful release from the demands of my career as a nurse practitioner. Yoga brings me back to center, grounding my body and spirit.

If given $20,000, I would invest it in expanding NarraIQ as a women-centered wellness space that merges my work as a nurse practitioner with my passion for health and fitness. The goal is to focus on prevention, movement, and education, supporting women in honoring their bodies through strength, informed care, and long-term vitality. Let’s rise together!
