Cynthia Ellsworth

This question goes deep for me. Honestly, my passion is fueled by my personal experience of losing my mother to ovarian cancer at 17 years of age, just a month before graduating high school. Losing her rocked my world and broke me while at the same time lighting a fire in my soul to pursue a career in the health field to make a positive impact in the world. I’m preventative medicine focused, holistic health focused, with a big heart to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others!

High school and college was all about playing competitive sports. During grad school I stayed busy with outdoor recreation and running. After graduating with my DPT, CrossFit became my way of recreation and competition for years, until I had my daughter, 10 months ago! I now find myself loving a bodybuilding approach along with metabolic conditioning in my training. Maintaining muscle on my body, being a strong mother, health and longevity is a priority!

I would do two things. First, make a donation to a cancer foundation. Second, I would invest it back to my passion and mission as an independent physical therapist to work on develop training/modified training programs. I desire to help more people, of all ages, of all abilities, with all types of injuries, conditions, and stages of life. I still have just as big of a fire lit in me, even bigger as a mom, to make a meaningful impact and inspire others to put their health and wellness first!
