Receive Text UpdatesIron sharpens Iron! I'm young at heart. Slightly older in other places! 2025 was a doozy of a year for me and every rep carries part of my story. This year I embraced /realized that my happiness depends solely on me (so I let everyone else off the hook) and I went religiously to my happy place (the gym) like it was my freaking job! There I went all in and demonstrated my happiness to myself! My commitment gave rise to next level strength allowing me to remain positive in negative times.
What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?My # 1 is Lifting Heavy Shit!!!! I just started a bodybuilding protocol and am in love with the weight lifting program from Team Driven! I also walk inclines on a treadmill wearing a 20# weighted vest 3x/week. This has done wonders for my posture! Closely tied is my SPENGA studio (spin/functional strength training/yoga) - the best fitsystem I've ever found (and I've literally gone to over 15 gyms in past decade!) My favorite and hands down hardest class I've ever taken is the battle rope one!
What would you do with $20,000?I will use my $20K to travel for health/wellness and achieve my goal of getting to all 50 states by the end of 2030 (16 to go)! The $20K will serve to underwrite the travel with my main goal to raise funds for pediatric cancer research through a kickass workout challenge and unique health/spa adventures in each remaining state (did I mention my kid is planning on being an oncologist)...iron sharpens iron! I will blog updates from each and am fairly confident it will be entertaining af 😉!
