Exuberance ~ outdoor exercise fills my soul; absorbing nature creates peace. Staying healthy & strong assures my independence. Sharing my passion for exercise motivates others. Competing in endurance cycling is exciting and setting records in 70+ is a bonus. Motivating others - “if I can, you can!” Absorbing beauty all around me - which I turn into paintings. I’ve been working out and competing for 60+ years, and expect to continue into my 90s. Exercise is Happy Time!
What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?Cycling~ with friends. Or solo. Short rides. Long rides. Verrrry long rides (double centuries are fun!) Touring. Racing, 😎 I combine this with twice weekly strength training, daily stretch & mobility, recovery techniques, and good nutrition. Love to ride all day long in spring and summer. Love to run the local trails on rainy days. Add in mtn biking fun once a week (until fall race prep begins.) Lastly, balancing activity with rest days keeps me productive, healthy, and happy~
