Connect What fuels your passion for health and fitness?

A lifetime of studying bodywork and acupuncture has given me a clinical understanding of the human form, but it was the railroad that provided its true application. Working as a freight conductor was the most demanding job of my life, it taught me resilience. Pushing through exhaustion to work again the next day, I witnessed my body’s potential to rebuild and grow. I now bridge that clinical knowledge with real-world grit to help others master their strength.

What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?

I thrive on high-intensity, explosive workouts that challenge my physical limits. I balance that with half marathons, 10k races, and boxing. Beyond the gym, I stay active through biking to town and chopping firewood. I prioritize daily movement and utilize the sauna and red light therapy, for optimal recovery.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would dedicate these funds to launching a martial arts training program. Having already secured a facility, I would allocate the capital toward essential equipment, targeted advertising, and renovations to prepare the business location for students. My goal is to establish a school that bridges physical mastery with Eastern medicine. By combining my acupuncture background with traditional training, I can direct a program that offers a unique, clinical approach to martial arts in the USA.
