I lost my mom when I was young, and after making some poor decisions growing up, I chose to turn that experience into motivation to take better care of myself. I wanted to be healthy so I could be there for my kids and show others how fitness can support mental health, not just physical health. I hope my children see my dedication, follow in my footsteps, and grow up to live happy, healthy lives.
What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?I love trying new things, and my fitness journey has allowed me to experience many different sports, including soccer, volleyball, curling, running, Ninja Warrior, Spartan and Tough Mudder races, gymnastics, and aerial and pole training. While I enjoy exploring new activities, my go-to is weight training, and it will always be the foundation of my fitness routine.
What would you do with $20,000?I would use the money to build a home gym so I can share my passion for fitness with my family and spend more quality time together. I also want to focus on earning my yoga certification so I can continue growing, learning, and helping others through movement.
