Struggled with sciatica/T2 diabetes, decided to fight & be a good steward of my body. My parents are aging and I know with a stronger body I can better care for them should the need arise, and I can minimize my own risk of needing care as I age. Fitness brings purpose into my life and I want to be the best version of myself possible. I hope to share this gift with others and empower them to do the same!

Strength training and resistance training are my favorites. Through this journey I've learned how important it is, especially as an aging female, to maintain muscle and stay strong. Goal: to enter my first powerlifting meet this year! I enjoy challenging myself with new things and learning just how strong this body and mind can be. I also enjoy finding new ways to make healthy and delicious foods to fuel this body.

I would love to give back to the people who helped me along the way. I'd sponsor my home gym's younger group through their meets, help them achieve their dreams. Give back to my local community. Give my parents a memorable vacation, at an all-inclusive resort where they get pampered and waited on hand and foot. Put some into trying my first stage competition! Whatever is left- paying off debt & much needed home repairs!
