Receive Text UpdatesI have always been an undersized kid. I found the weight room when I was 17 yrs old and fell in love with it immediately. Amongst having many knee surgeries throughout my college playing career at LSU, I realized how much fitness, healthy habits, and a healthy diet could play a role in expediting my recovery and return to play. What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?Motion is lotion and movement is medicine. I have always been underdeveloped so anything that will help me gain strength and feel powerful at a high intensity and high enthusiasm without pain is what I enjoy doing most in any weight room or fitness facility. True strength lies in your ability to create a way instead of an excuse.
What would you do with $20,000?It would aid in helping medical expenses from my recent amputation surgery as well as financing my attempt at a shot for the Paralympics that would include paying a coach, occasional travel expenses, and equipment necessary for training. I would also invest some in a foundation that would help other disabled people proactively stay healthy and/or better prosthetic research helping create “return to activity protocols” that dont exist for amputees currently.
