Connect What fuels your passion for health and fitness?

Years of disordered eating, yo yo-ing, fertility and miscarriages left me disconnected mentally and physically—a victim. The journey to fitness transformed my heart and body. I can stand strong knowing that regardless of obstacles, I am capable of overcoming, not in spite of challenges, but because I’m willing to forge through and face them unafraid. Fitness gave me confidence I didn’t know I was missing.

What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?

Getting outside as often as possible with my kids—encouraging movement. Early morning strength training and incline treadmill walking before the kids wake up. It gets my headspace ready for the day of homeschooling ahead.

What would you do with $20,000?

I genuinely want to see every woman succeed at unlocking their best selves. I’d use the financial assistance to invest in my fitness platform in my community (and hopefully beyond), to mentor and encourage women who also feel discouraged in their bodies—miscarriages, infertility, postpartum, etc. I want to see women rally around, cheer themselves on as they push for one more rep and one more step towards a better them. I want to create support and resources. We’re not broken. We are strong!
