Receive Text UpdatesLiving with Type 1 diabetes forced me to understand my body on a deeper level. Training isn’t optional for me — it’s how I manage my health, my blood sugar, and my mindset. Fitness gave me control in a situation where I didn’t always have it, and it taught me discipline, resilience, and trust in myself. Every workout is a reminder that I’m capable of anything I put my mind to.
What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?Strength training is my foundation. Building muscle has helped me stay consistent with my blood sugar management while making me feel strong and confident. I train with intention, paying close attention to how my body responds, and I stay active through daily movement that supports both my performance and my health. Training to compete is my new favorite.
What would you do with $20,000?I would invest in my health and future by continuing my education in fitness and diabetes management, upgrading tools that support my training and blood sugar control, and using my platform to raise awareness for living an active life with Type 1 diabetes. I want to show others that a diagnosis doesn’t set limits — mindset does.
