Receive Text UpdatesTrauma and recovery are a significant part of my story. At one time in my life, health and fitness was a way for me to control something in life when it felt so out of control. However, through recovery, I have witnessed the profound impact health & fitness have on supporting the brain & body connection for overall mental health and wellbeing. No longer is it a way to control but to surrender and trust the incredible capacity the body has to heal, recover, & make a comeback.
What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?Crossfit. I love the agility and adventure of getting stronger & fighting to hit a lift or reach a PR. I cannot tell you how many times in recovery I have had to fight to live and not quit. Life should not be a fight but sometimes we need to fight to live. I am here for it.
What would you do with $20,000?I would invest in my kids future — the next generations life & dreams.
