I'm a mother of three, and lost my firstborn to a brain tumor when he was 12. I struggled for years after that. But now, I'm healthy, fit and I stay active which has made my sobriety journey a success! I’m driven by progress, by the challenge of pushing past old limits, and by the belief that wellness changes every part of life - mind, body, and spirit. I feel strong, and capable of accomplishing anything!

I train on the rugged trails in the mountains. My workouts mix endurance, strength, and balance - Every run is a full-body challenge, testing power and resilience. Every step pushes my body to adapt, build power, and move efficiently across unpredictable ground. At the summit, I pause to reflect, meditate, and take in the raw beauty of our Earth, to recharge my mind and body before heading back down.

If I won the $20,000, I would put it toward my education to become a wellness coach. My long-term goal is to open a recovery and healing center in the mountains - where nature, movement, and the Lord are part of the process. I want to create a place where people can restore their health, overcome their struggles, find peace, realize their strength and gain happiness. All through faith, fresh air, and the power of the outdoors!
