My fitness journey began when I finally realized that chasing a skinny and smaller body would only leave me disappointed. Finally, when I started to work on being strong instead, my confidence soared and my body composition was reflecting the strong confident woman I knew God made to be. Helping others find the same success is my purpose. My passion is fueled by helping others match their spiritual body to their physical body, that is strong and healthy.

What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?

For me, training and being fit means being strong! Strength training is my go-to. Five days a week before I head to work, I am up bright and early hitting the weights. I use progressive overload and aim to lift heavy to make those muscle gains! I compliment my strength training with yoga for stretching and stability. I also enjoy getting outside with my two boys and being active.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000 I would be able to grow and expand my fitness and yoga business. I currently work virtually with clients through my own business For Freedom Fitness. I also lead a small group at my church offering free yoga to anyone in the community. I would use some of the money to continue to pour back into the community to help others reach their fitness goals. I would also love to be able to have my own space to offer more in person services and mobile yoga classes.
