Connect What fuels your passion for health and fitness?

My passion for health and fitness comes from finally understanding my body. In my 50s, I learned what my body was lacking, what it responded to, and what it truly needed — something I had never experienced before. Fitness showed me that I’m stronger than I thought, physically and mentally. It gave me confidence, discipline, and a sense of purpose. I’m fueled by the desire to never lose myself again and to show my children and grandchildren that growth doesn’t stop with age.

What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?

I love structured gym training with intention and purpose. Weight training has become my foundation — it challenges me, builds confidence, and reminds me what my body is capable of. Training for my first-ever bodybuilding competition with the WNBF has given me a new level of focus and commitment. I enjoy pushing myself, learning proper form, and embracing the discipline that comes with competition prep while balancing real life.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would invest in my competition journey and continued education, allowing me to compete in Debut Bikini and Grand Masters Bikini and work toward the Pro International Championships in Calgary, while inspiring others to pursue their goals at any age.
