My passion is fueled by the confidence and mental toughness that develops when you discipline your body. Each challenge we overcome physically strengthens the mind and creates a foundation for resilience in everyday life. With 11 years of sobriety, I model the power of healthy choices, self-discipline, and perseverance everyday. This allows me to connect with my students and help them build confidence, emotionally regulate and learn lifelong habits to thrive in life.
What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?My favorite way to train is CrossFit and Olympic Lifting because they challenge both the body and mind while building strength, discipline, and confidence through perseverance, accountability and resilience.
What would you do with $20,000?First I would donate a portion to my church for the homeschool co-op community to help facilitate physical fitness and healthy habits into the curriculum. Second, I would invest in expanding my personal home gym to dedicate a space for my daughter who is a dancer and requires slightly different equipment for her flexibility, mobility and injury prevention. With my current schedule my home gym continues to be a wise investment.
