Receive Text UpdatesA combination of physical results, mental clarity, and a desire for long-term quality of life drives my passion for health and fitness. In addition, seeing measurable results or hitting new personal records provides a sense of accomplishment and fuels my desire for continuous improvement. Finally, connecting fitness to my deeper values—such as being a role model or honoring my health as a responsibility—provides me with permanent motivation.
What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?I love to play pickleball tournaments. I train for pickleball by drilling with a coach and playing at least 3 hours a day. I strength train to be able to hit the ball hard. I do cardio like Les Mills Body Combat and Body Attack. Sometimes I do Les Mills Grit for HIIT. In addition, I also do pickleball-specific agility training. I just started using virtual reality with Meta 3 hardware. I do Pickleball One, Reflexion Go, and a Les Mills Body Combat program. I also teach Tai Chi and walk.
What would you do with $20,000?I would use some for my pickleball travel and tournaments. I would donate some to the Soroptimists International of Sequim, of which I am a member, for girls' and women's health initiatives.
