After my divorce, I became both mom & dad to my kids. They chose to no longer have their father in their lives,that responsibility changed everything for me. I don’t have the luxury of neglecting my health. I need to be strong, present, and here for the long haul — for all the life moments still ahead. My passion for health and fitness is rooted in that commitment. Taking care of my body isn’t about appearance — it’s about longevity, resilience, & being able to show up for my kids.
What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?I never thought I’d say this, but I love weight lifting. Watching my muscles grow, pushing myself to lift heavier than I did last time, and trying new movements has completely changed how I see my body. Strength training isn’t just physical — it’s empowering. Every rep reminds me of what I’m capable of, both in and out of the gym
What would you do with $20,000?I’d use part of the $20,000 to take my kids on a much-needed vacation to celebrate our resilience and create memories together. The rest would be invested until I have enough saved for a down payment on a home. This would ensure my kids will inherit something when I do pass.
