I found healing in wellness focusing on functional nutrition and power in strength training/weight lifting. Not long after falling in love with fitness, I got pregnant. I stayed extremely active throughout my entire pregnancy and, amazingly enough, saw leeps and bounds postpartum and, two years later, am the strongest and fittest I have ever been. My physical strength is a representation of mental toughness and a commitment to longevity. I do this for my younger self, my family, and our future.
What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?I love fundamental strength training, high volume work, weight lifting, and Les Mills Body Pump! I also chase around and play all day with an extremely active 2-year-old. He's the real reason my shoulders are what they are!
What would you do with $20,000?I am currently a stay at home mom but also a full-time college student. The $20,000 would not only go towards my family, bills, and paying off debt, but I am also seeking to enroll in a health coach program so I can help empower others to take control of their health and improve quality of life, combining fitness, nutrition, psychology, and spirituality, as a big picture approach. Our bodies are what get us to where we want to go in life, and life is too short to be the ones in our own way.
