Health and fitness has had a huge impact on my mental health especially within the last year.ive learned to reconnect body and mind to recover from abuse/domestic violence by regaining ownership of my body which allowed me to overcome many struggles. Grateful I’ve found peace of mind with every workouts and pushing myself through hard times doing so
What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?Having the opportunity to live by the ocean, I start my day at 5:30 am where I get ready to go walk,run a few miles along the shore where not only my body is getting the exercise it needs but my mind starts its day with the relaxing sound of the waves and its calming sound. I often bring with the weighted bags to practice squats and find along the way heavier rocks to exercise my upper body. I also recently taken on pole classes which engage my full chore. It keeps me sane in a busy world
What would you do with $20,000?If I had the opportunity to make it this far, I would give back to certain people who supported me along the way, especially this past year who’s been one of the hardest. I’d give back to center for woman who’s been abused as this is something that lands very close to home
