I was initially timid and afraid, but through my own journey, I built strength, physically and mentally, and pushed myself for more. I showed myself that I am in fact, strong and capable. That made my confidence blossom, and now I get to guide other women through the same process. My passion is fueled by my past self who doubted my power.
What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?I love strength training in all forms, lifting heavy weights, pushing through those final hard reps, overcoming that feeling of wanting to quit, yet coming out stronger on the other side. I also have a specialty in kettlebell training, and have made that a part of my coaching, showing women the strength, skills, and confidence they can build with kettlebells, even at home. Recently I've started a running journey, because even coaches should push themselves out of their comfort zone.
What would you do with $20,000?I would invest some of the money back into myself and my business. I would use part of it for continuing my education, taking more certifications, traveling to seminars and workshops, all with the goal to continue building myself up as a business woman and coach. I would also use part of it to give back to a foundation that supports women. I have donated to the New York Womens Foundation in the past - which funds community led solutions towards womens economic security, safety, and health.
