What fuels your passion for health and fitness?

My history of bullying, being over weight, playing a division 1 college sport, dealing with an eating disorder, and helping my husband beat cancer. I have seen what a balanced life of health and fitness can do for you! It can bring happiness, healing, community, healthy habits, etc.

What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?

I love endurance sports. I was a swimmer for 20 years so that is where my heart lies. I am pretty strong, naturally, and I know the benefits of lifting so I love to incorporate strength training of all sorts (heavy weights, barre classes, yoga, circuit training). I love all training! I don’t like to do just one thing.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use the 20,000 to help build my families savings back up after a year of expensive medical bills. We want to start having kids soon (God willing) and would love nothing more to have a little wiggle room in our finances.
